Abstract
결론
저자는 서울시 치과의사협회 주최 1992년도 건치 아동 후보로 선발된 아동 중 정상적인
교합 상태를 갖는 흔합치열기 아동 35명(남자 17명, 여자 18명, Hellman dental loge ⅢB)의
두부방사선규격사진을 이용하여 연조직 측모를 분석한 결과 다음의 결른을 얻었다.
1. 남녀별 평균 및 표준편차를 얻었다.
2. 연조직 후경 중 maxillary sulcus의 후경은 남자가 여자보다 컸다(p<0.05).
3. 안면 고경에서는 남자의 하순 고경 및 하안면 고경이 여자보다 길었다(p<0.01).
4. 안모의 convexity 상하순 및 코의 돌출도, 경사도 등에서는 남녀간에 통계학적인 유의
차가 인정되지 않았다(p>0.05).
5. 건치아동이 백인 아동에 비해 상하순 돌출도, 상하순 고경 및 턱의 연조직 후경이 크
며, 측모가 보다 직선적이고, 상하순의 sulcus가 깊지 않은 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to obtain standard measurements of the soft tissue
profile of the children who had excellent mired dentition.
Cephalometric roentgenograms of 35 children(17 boys and 18 girls, Hellman dental age
ⅢB) among the contestants in 1992 Healthy Dentition Contest in Seoul were studied for
the soft tissue profile and following results were obtained ;
1. Means and standard deviations of the children were obtained.
2. Maxillary sulcus thickness was thicker in male(p<0.05).
3. Lower lip length and lower facial height were longer in male(p<0.01).
4. No significant differences were noted between male and female in the facial
convexity, lip protrusion, nose protrusion and inclination measurements(p>0.05).
5. Upper and lower lips were more protrusive and longer, soft tissue chins were
thicker, profiles were straighter and sulcuses were more shallow in the Korean Healthy
Dentition Contestants than in those of the Caucasian children.
